SEMS-PV Solar Energy & Meteorological Monitoring System

GEONICA

Description

The SEMS-PV is a complete meteorological and solar-resource monitoring system for photovoltaic power plants. It combines a METEODATA data logger with solar-radiation and meteorological sensors and provides direct connectivity to plant SCADA systems for real-time monitoring.

Typical Measurements

  • Global Horizontal Irradiance (GHI)
  • Direct Normal Irradiance (DNI)
  • Diffuse Horizontal Irradiance (DHI)
  • Albedo and plane-of-array irradiance
  • Air temperature and relative humidity
  • Wind speed and direction
  • Precipitation and atmospheric pressure
  • PV module temperature
  • Soiling, short-circuit current and open-circuit voltage

The system can be configured for remote communications and data management through METEODATA and GEO-DataView tools.
