Description
The BTD-200 Lightning Warning System is a complete, self-contained outdoor thunderstorm warning solution for sites where reliable early warning is critical. It uses quasi-electrostatic sensing to detect cloud-to-ground, cloud-to-cloud and intra-cloud lightning, as well as charged precipitation and strong atmospheric electric fields.
With a 35 km detection range, 1 km range resolution and a false alarm rate below 2%, the BTD-200 can warn of dangerous overhead lightning risk even before the first strike occurs. The system is supplied with a universal power supply and Lightning Works software for monitoring, alarms and data logging.
