The VPF-750 Visibility and Present Weather Sensor is Biral's most advanced model, designed for high-accuracy weather monitoring in all conditions. It provides precise visibility measurements and reports present weather, including freezing precipitation, using a 45° forward scatter angle and an 850nm infrared light source. The sensor's backscatter receiver can distinguish between liquid and frozen precipitation, offering more reliable weather assessments compared to other sensors. Built for harsh environments, it features robust construction, window contamination monitoring, and optional hood heaters. The VPF-750 is lightweight, easy to install, and operates across a wide temperature range, making it ideal for aviation and meteorological applications.
