FC Series Vacuum Switch

The Orion FC Series Vacuum Switch is designed for high-performance and reliability in demanding applications. It operates at a working pressure of up to 12 bar and offers Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) or Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) switching for versatile control options. The switch is built with reliable and accurate micro switches, ensuring precise performance. It features a 1/4” BSP thread, with other thread options available to suit various requirements.

The wetted parts are constructed from 316 stainless steel, providing exceptional durability and resistance to corrosion. The switch is certified to ATEX Exd IIC T6 standards, making it suitable for use in hazardous environments.

The Orion FC Series also includes a flameproof ATEX Exd switch with adjustable change-over contacts (SPDT or DPDT). It accommodates adjustable switching pressure ranges up to 400 bar and can handle maximum working pressures up to 12 bar. The device is enclosed in black epoxy powder-coated die-cast aluminum and stainless steel, ensuring robust protection.

Additional features include optional gold alloy contacts, various wetted material options (such as Monel, Titanium, Tantalum, and Hastelloy C), a terminal block for easy field wiring, and hermetically sealed microswitch options. The switch also meets NACE MR-01-75 compatibility standards, available as an option.
